More than 250 service organisations form a network

Mr J Prabhakar, an artist by profession at Chennai has been informally bringing together for the past four years, various formal and informal service organisations of Tamilnadu, under the banner 'Ennangalin Sangamam' (Convergence of noble thoughts). He has met nearly more than 300 such great men and women who have committed their life to the social development. Every year, he brings them together for a purposeful discussion.

On Sunday the 4th Jan 2009, he had invited around 250 such organisations at one of the colleges, nearly 50 KM from the City. Nearly 500 people turned up representing around 250 social organisations, from 26 districts of Tamilnadu. It was amazing to see men and women joining together in large numbers, not withstanding the distance from the City, exhibiting their their commitment to the Nation.

Dr Mahalingam, a well known Industrialist of South India delivered key note address. Mr Girish Pande, Commissioner of Income Tax, Chennai and many others particpated and shared their views.

Now Mr Prabhkar and his friends like Mr Murugan formed a Trust to bring together all the social organisations formally in the name of "Networking and Development centre for Service Organisations'.

India Vision online Group wishes them all success and effective networking. We Congratulate Mr Prabhakar and his team.
